Two-factor authentication (2FA) significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access by requiring a second verification step that makes sure that a person logging into your account is actually you. Enabling 2FA not only adds an extra security layer but also ensures peace of mind by protecting your information.
Note that two-factor authentication works with Google Authenticator. Please download it to your iOS or Android device.
How to activate 2FA? 🙌
Enabling 2FA is simple and will only take a few moments of your time. Here's how you can do it:
Log in to your Sociality.io account and click on ‘Settings’ in the bottom corner.
Navigate to the ‘Security’ section under the Personal menu.
Look for the option to enable Two-Factor Authentication.
Enter your Sociality.io password to complete the 2FA setup process.
Navigate to the Google Authenticator app and click on the ‘+’ icon to scan the QR code.
Then, enter the six-digit authentication code that appears on the Google Authenticator app.
When you see the success message below, you are good to go! 🙌
Starting next time you log into Sociality.io, there'll be an extra step. Simply open your Google Authenticator app to input the 6-digit code provided for access.
