1) How are you managing your channel?
To connect your YouTube channels to Sociality.io, we should first understand how you manage your channel. You are either:
managing your channel through a Brand account,
or Personal account.
How to understand this?
Go to studio.youtube.com and switch to your channel.
Click on āSettingsā in the bottom left corner.
Click on āPermissionsā on the following pop up
Brand account:
If you see the āYouāre currently managingā¦ā message and āMANAGE PERMISSIONSā redirect link, that means you are managing your channel through a Brand account.
Personal account:
If you are seeing a user list in this pop-up instead of the previous message, it means you are managing your channel through a Personal account.
2) I am managing my channel through a Brand account. How can I connect it to Sociality.io?
First, be sure you have permission to connect your YouTube channels to Sociality.io.
Click on the brand you want to connect
Click āManage permissionsā
Be sure you added to the brand account as Primary owner, Owner, or Manager. You can not connect your page if you are a ācommunications manager.ā

3) I am managing my channel through a Personal account. How can I connect it to Sociality.io?
First, letās check if you have permission to do.
Go to studio.youtube.com and switch to your channel.
Click on Settings in the bottom left corner.
Click on Permissions on the following pop-up.
Be sure you have the āOwnerā title in this user list. If you have other roles, you cannot connect your page, so contact the owner to do that.
