Wow! Welcome to the information page of one of our latest and proudest achievements; Instagram messaging has officially come to Socialty.io, and you may be wondering about how you can activate this feature in the shortest time. Well, it’s really quite simple and we are sharing the steps that you should take to use this feature 🤗
Instagram Messaging is available for all businesses on Instagram 🥳
To be able to use Instagram Messaging the only criteria is to have your account as a Business account. If your page is not Business yet, the first thing you should do is to convert your account to a Business account. Fortunately, we have a quite comprehensive guide to the process in case you run into a problem with this.
If your IG account is currently a Business account you can proceed to the following steps with peace of mind 👣
You need to enable the connected tools to toggle under message control settings on the Instagram account, just like in the screenshot below.
Then, the access token of related pages on your Sociality.io account needs to be refreshed, just to save the changes at the first step.

You will be redirected to Facebook to update your permissions after the 2. step. Please be sure that you are providing the "manage and access messages for the Instagram account connected to your Page" for these related pages.
Quick note: If you do not access this permission in this step, synchronization will not occur, and the system will not ask this permission from you again. However, you can always update this permission from here. Please remind that you need to update the tokens of all pages connected to Sociality.io after this process ✌🏻
