How can I refresh my access tokens?

Let’s start with a small explanation of what an “Access Token” means in Sociality.io 🙃

"Since Sociality.io does not ask you for any password or credential, all transactions on your pages are done with the assurance of the channels and the access keys you provide to us.”

Occasionally, a pop-up window asks you to update the access token because the access was expired. You can find details about this expiration here

How to refresh your access tokens?

  1. Click on “Settings” and then it will directly navigate you to the "Brands" section on the following screen.


    Alternatively, you also click on the "Update tokens" button located on the “Expired tokens” card right on the homepage.


    Then, a new window opens with a profile overview displaying key details such as user count, monthly mentions, competitor profiles, and more.

  2. Click on the “Edit” icon.

  3. Click on "Update Access Token". Do not forget that you must be logged in to your page's social platform and have admin/editor roles on these pages.

  4. Wait until you see the "Token Updated" notification and save!
